Lidia prefers to knit with natural fibers and especially loves linen because it softens with every wash.  For her, linen brings back childhood memories of the flax fields near her grandmother’s home in Ukraine.  She remembers seeing them flowering with tiny blue blossoms.  As with many of her sweaters, Lidia started this one with her signature seamless yoke and there is no sewing to do when you are finished!
