Memory Aprons for Mother and Daughter
Do you remember your grandmother or mother wearing an apron?
Do you remember wearing an apron when you were small? Or wanting to wear one just like Mom?
These aprons were designed to be used! They are meant to be special and to remind you of that very precious bond you have with your daughter when she is small. Decorate her apron with heirloom buttons. (I used my grandmother’s buttons.)
Is she all grown up now? Then make Mother and Daughter aprons out of the large size. This is a special pattern just for the memories….. but practical, too!
Wait …. Are you the daughter who wants to make a memory for Mom? Well, go ahead! Your mother will love this apron. Make her one for her birthday, for Christmas, for Valentine’s Day just to say I love you.
Mix and match the features you like: wide or narrow waistband, length of ties, width and length of the front panel, buttons/beads/picots, wide or narrow border. You make it to suit your own style!
