This is a stash buster project designed to use up oddments of fingering weight yarn. You can adjust the height by using more or less yarn according to what you have. The sample shown measures 30” around and about 6.75” high and uses approximately 220 yards of yarn in total, but use what you have and make your cowl taller or shorter if you wish.

Exact tension is not vital (one 20-stitch pattern repeat of the sample cowl measures 3” across) but may affect the size of your cowl and your yardage requirement.
