I love lighthouses and thinking about the fact that they are the beacon that leads us home. Portugal has many faróis, as they are called here, in beautiful locations. My “home” lighthouse is at Cabo Espichel – a bright structure in the midst of a wild and romantic landscape. The tower itself is nothing special, I am more interested in the symbol on the gate: two anchors, framing a lighthouse. This small maritime work of art was the inspiration for my half zip jumper with a zipper at the collar to withstand any chilly breeze.

Ich liebe Leuchttürme und die Vorstellung, dass sie den Weg nach Hause weisen. Portugal besitzt zahlreiche faróis, wie sie hier heißen, oft wunderbar gelegen. Mein „Heimat“-Leuchtturm ist der am Kap Espichel, ein helles Gebäude in wild-romantischer Landschaft. Der Turm selbst ist eher unspektakulär, mir hat es das Emblem am Tor angetan: Zwei Anker, die schwungvoll um einen Leuchtturm kreisen. Dieses kleine maritime Kunstwerk war Inspiration für diesen Troyer-Pullover mit Reißverschluss am Kragen, um kühle Brisen abzuwehren.
