The pattern is worked top down, and has a knit center square with a garter stitch menorah design.

If you are using a loom that is not a fine gauge you may want to double up on the yarn so that it is snug. The snugger it is, the more visible the design is. This is the reason for the wide variance in yarn needed. About 50yds should be good for a fine gauge loom, yarn held single.

The dishcloth in the pattern photo was kindly made by DadaDeeDee on the small green Elvira loom, and measured 22x18cm (8.66x7.09in) before soaking, and 21.5x18.5cm (8.46x7.28in) when dry. It used a little over 53 yds of yarn.

This pattern includes a one page, very abbreviated version as well as line-by-line instructions for those of you who like to check them off as you go. The chart is a separate PDF file.
