MATERIALS
Germantown yarn:
2 ounces each white and blue,
1 ounce red.
Knitting needles:
1 pair No. 2;
1 set (4) double-pointed needles, No. 2.
GAUGE
7 ½ stitches = 1 inch.
For boys’ socks:
SIZE
14 years (length, 9 ½ inches, foot 9 ½ inches).

Three-ply fingering yarn:
2 ounces each white and blue,
1 ounce red.
Knitting needles:
1 pair No. 2;
1 set (4) double-pointed needles, No. 2.
