Diagonals consists of 2 patterns in one - Men’s and Women’s version.

There are 2 versions of this Shawl: One with multiple color changes, using a gradient yarn, and one version with 2 colors with unique spacing.

Both versions follow the same basic pattern with the exception of the color sequences.

Strategic increases and decreases create a diagonal, chevron effect without intarsia. Diagonal stripes meet in the middle of the shawl. Cables on both sides and middle create a solid edge and defined center. The nature of the shawl creates a slight puckering at the first end of the shawl that is created by the increase and decreases in each row.
Make it as long and as wide, as colorful and as warm as you wish.
The basic pattern leaves much room for your own imagination.
