This beanie fits an adult male. It is great for making charity beanies as its crochets up quick and is thick and warm.
Two strands of 8ply yarn are held together to get the thickness so that is why it takes quite a bit of yarn to make. Two strands of the same colour would work just as well as to strands of different colours.
