Men's Foraging Gloves
This is a basic fingerless glove pattern for a large or extra large men’s hand. Good for beginners who want to try something a little fancier.
It can be adapted to smaller adult hands, and I’ve included instructions on how to adjust it.
You must learn a Right Twist (which is pretty easy), make 1 stitch.
and know how to knit using Magic Loop.
This is done 2 @ a time on magic loop, or can be done 1 @ a time on magic loop. Not for double pointed needles.
Materials are:
2 balls of Aran weight yarn, I used 100% wool from MellyKnits. Find her on Facebook!
5mm circular needles.
60” (maybe 40”) cable though I prefer the extra length.
Waste yarn in a contrasting colour.
yarn needle
2 - 3 stitch markers
Gauge is 10 stitches by 14 rows.
Small scale sellers such as farm market vendors, craft vendors, hand knitters can sell the finished product. I just ask that credit is given to me for the pattern.
