· Circular needle 3.25 mm / US 3, 40 cm / 16 in long, or size required to achieve correct tension for hat
· 1 set (4) double point needles 3.25 mm / US 3 for hat
· 2 sets (8) double point needles 3.25 mm / US 3 or size required to achieve correct tension for gloves, 13 cm / 5 in long if possible

TENSION GAUGE
37 sts and 26 rows = 10 cm / 4” over 2 X 2 rib, with larger needles, un-stretched.
