I designed MERCEDES Sweater during this summer because, over the last few times of sharing with my knitting students and some knitters, I realised that there is a lack of simple sweater patterns.
Sweaters that can be knitted no matter what level of knitter you are!!! Of course, there are other reasons, such as how many times have we wanted a simple project to accompany us at a stage when we just want to knit for the sake of knitting, or even how many times have we wanted a bigger project that wouldn’t take us so long to make? Mercedes has a bit of all this, so please enjoy the pleasure to knit your own Mercedes!!

DESCRIPTION

MERCEDES is a sweater knitted with two different colored yarns of Victória Ovelha Negra (original colors of the sweater are nº 24 + nº 31), a wool from Portuguese merino sheep.

Oversized, constructed in a seamless circular pattern, top down, raglan shape, it has a positive ease between 4 or 6 inches 10 cm and 15 cm. This means that it is designed to be 4 to 6 inches 10 cm to 15 cm, ease longer than your bust measurements.
Note: If choosing to knit Mercedes with less ease for a more fitted look please review the measurements.

• Gauge 16 sts x 22 rows in stockinette stitch on US 9 needles 5,5 mm, 4x4 inches 10 x 10 cm, after blocking

• Needles Circular needles US9 5,5 mm cable 32, 40 or 47 inches / 80, 100 or 120 cm or the necessary to have the correct gauge US 7 4,5 mm - K2, P2 rib For sleeves use Magic loop technique with US9 5,5 mm and US7 / 4,5 mm needles.
