It uses basic stitches, a basic knowledge of crochet is assumed. There is however a fair bit of shaping, so I would not recommend this to a beginner.

Gauge is not important. I crochet to a normal tension & the toy came out at 19” tall but adjusting the hook size further will adjust the size.

2.5, 3 & 4mm hooks
Flesh, black – 50g DK
Terracotta/Ginger & Green -100g
Small Amounts-
Rose pink, blue, cream, yellow & white
Fibrefill
