Merida
This scarf has a repeating pattern of eyelets which resemble arrows or chevrons. I named it after Merida, the heroine in Disney’s Brave film, because of the design and also the color which sort of matches her dress.
It can be made from any weight yarn but is extra delicate and elegant when made from a light fingering weight yarn. Less than one skein of Malabrigo Sock yarn in the colorway Solis was used to make the scarf in the photos.
Please note that the scarf will need to be blocked or ironed in the finishing step when using a thinner yarn such as Malabrigo Sock. Also, stockinette stitch does tend to curl a bit.
