This pattern is really great for any worsted weight yarn, especially self-striping ones with long colour changes.

It’s a one skein project that uses up the full skein. If you’re worried about running out of yarn, you can always start the last section a little early.

Picot Bind off instructions are included. If you prefer a plain edge, choose another stretchy bind off.

And, this cowl is reversible! The stitch pattern looks great on the right and wrong sides.

The second version seen in the pictures is one that was knit out of one skein of Cascade’s Melilla. We did an Elastic Bind Off and added a tassel.
