7-14 x 50g balls of the recommended yarn are required, with 1 cable needle. There is one small chart for 3 different cable stitch repeats.

This is partly a recipe-style pattern. The different cable stitches are written out separately, then instructions are given on how to combine the stitches for each of the six sizes. However the stitches and instructions would be straightforward for the intermediate cable knitter.
