This is the pattern for a crocodile appliqué. I do have this pattern available for free on my website if you would prefer that option. The link is down below, but I’ve made it available for people to download as well for $1 on Ravelry.

I’ve used 2 ply cotton and a 1mm crochet hook but you can use different sizes depending on what you’re most comfortable with.

• 4 or 5 colours of crochet cotton or wool, I used Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat 2 ply crochet cotton colours (130) Old Lace, (208) Yellow Gold, (106) Snow White and (400) Petrol Blue.

• A crochet hook, I used a 1mm hook.

• Scissors.

• Darning needle to weave in ends.

• Sewing thread and needle to stitch the mermaid together.

• 2 small black beads for the eyes if desired.

• A bead for the flower centre if desired.
