This is a 16 row repeat that creates a gorgeous mermaid scale texture. It’s not too hard for beginning knitters that know how to cast on, knit, purl, and slip stitches. Using a row counter- either digital or a charm-is helpful until you get the hang of the row patterns and knowing where you are in your work. This sample pictured uses a light acrylic, but could also use worsted that would make for a bit larger and heavier throw instead of a baby blanket. Finished sample was about 33.5in w x 32in h
