Homemade By Marcie Original Design: Mermaid Cutout Top

All my patterns are made for beginner/intermediate crocheters. I include step by step instructions including many photos.

The pattern is written in English and uses Standard US Terminology.

Sizes: (measurements below are approx. based on the gauge below)

Cup sizes:
(These measurements do not include the back panel or scallop edging. The width is the widest part of the cup. If the width is correct but the length is too short/long, adjust the beginning by a few stitches)
A/B Cup – Cup width 11cm, cup length 17.5cm
B/C Cup – Cup width 14cm, cup length 20.5cm
C/D Cup – Cup width 17cm, cup length 23.5cm
D/E Cup – Cup width 20cm, cup length 26.5cm

Back panel widths & main body lengths:
Small – 1XLarge (sizing details include in pattern)

Hook: 3.5mm
  

Gauge: 10cm = 20 Sts x 14.5 Rows (Flat rows in Hdc)
I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND CHECKING THE GAUGE BEFORE STARTING AS I CROCHET TIGHTLY
 

Yarn: Heavy DK/Aran Weight. I recommend cotton or cotton blend yarn as it has more stability and will offer more support

A/B Cup – 24g+ / 52m+ / 55yds+
B/C Cup – 38g+ / 82m+ / 90yds+
C/D Cup – 52g+ / 112m+ / 122yds+
D/E Cup – 66g+ / 142m+ / 153yds+

Back panel widths & main body lengths:
Small – 81g+ / 174m+ / 191yds+
Medium – 95g+ / 204m+ / 222yds+
Large – 109g+ / 234m+ / 257yds+
1XLarge – 123g+ / 265m+ / 288yds+
