I worked this bag up as a last-minute birthday gift and it was just so well-received that I had to write up the pattern for it! This super whimsical crossbody bag is guaranteed to be the most popular gift at any 10 year old girl’s birthday party, but it’s also the perfect eye-catching beach accessory and it’s just large enough to hold a phone, wallet and sunglasses case for your outing! -Pattern is written using US terminology
-Works up to 10 in. tall (not including tail fins), 8.5 inches wide with 20 inch handles.

Materials Needed:
-350 yards total worsted weight yarn: colors for tail, skin and bikini stripe, teenie bit for bellybutton.
-Hair straightener or low temp iron.
-5mm and 4mm hooks
-Tapestry Needle to weave ends.

-Crab/Reverse SC
-Magic Ring*
-Standing SC* (Standing BLOSC, BPSC)
-BPSC: Back Post Single Crochet
-NJ: Needle join
