This hat fits an 8.5” circumference bald doll head or a smaller doll head with a wig.
The band on this hat is worked sideways. The crown stitches are picked up on the side of the band. Skills needed are casting on, knitting, purling, slip stitch, decreasing, picking up stitches on the side of knitting, binding off and sewing a seam.
Using multiple thread colors and embellishing the hat are optional. The hat shown takes 3 colors (3 skeins) of size 5 pearl cotton and about 4 hours to knit. The embellishments shown took another 1 hour to apply.

Doll is 24” tall Unoa Zero.

3 skeins of 27-yard DMC pearl cotton are needed for the hat shown (3 different colors). 2 skeins are needed for a single-color hat.
