I spend way too much time on Pinterest, which somehow always leads me to looking at other’s amazing tattoos. Current love? The intricate half mandala tattoos that are done just under the bust!

So, I decided to create a crochet top to help fill that void! It features a half mandala…just under the bust <3!

NOTE YARN WEIGHTS HERE: My sample is created in Lion Brand 24/7 cotton. This yarn is marked worsted/4, but in my opinion is nearer to a Sport/DK/3 weight. Take note of this when subbing other yarns. I feel Hobby Lobby I love This Cotton is a good sub.

For wear in water, you will want to stick to cotton, preferably mercerized (which the 24/7 is). If you just want to wear it over a shirt or as a festival top, Caron Simply Soft is a good sub (again, marked 4, but nearer to a DK/Sport/3)

Need a little additional support? You can whip stitch in some bra inserts from an unused sports bra or bralette!

Rated confident beginner, it uses simple hdc sts in the back and front loops. The pattern contains LOTS of photos and FULLY TESTED instructions, so that your crochet experience is fun and easy!
