Mermaid crochet pattern with gift. You`ll give mini octopus pattern as gift.

This pattern is my original design. It consists of 23 pages of step by step crocheting instructions with quality photos and short videos with crochet tips.

The pattern doesn’t contain crochet lessons. You need to have basic crochet skills and good knowledge of crochet terminology.

You can use the finished toy to your own discretion.

The size of the finished toy with the use of recommended materials and 4.0 mm crochet hook: ~29 cm (~11.4 inches) high.
Pay attention that in case of using materials other than listed your toy size will differ from mine.

Recommended materials and tools:
1. Plush chunky yarn 100 gr/120 m (#6 Super Bulky). I use Himalaya Dolphin Baby:
Mermaid #1
• #80353 (powder) – 1 of the skein (75 gr);
• #80305 (light purple) – 1/3 of the skein (30 gr);
• #80328 (violet) – 1/2 of the skein (40 gr);
• #80354 (teal) -1/3 of the skein (30 gr);
• #80307 (light mint) -1/3 of the skein (15 gr).
Mermaid #2
• #80353 (powder) – 1 of the skein (75 gr);
• #80307 (light mint) – 1/3 of the skein (30 gr);
• #80348 (dark teal) – 1/2 of the skein (40 gr);
• #80310 (berry) -1/3 of the skein (30 gr);
• #80303 (light pink) -1/3 of the skein (15 gr).

1. Black cotton or semicotton yarn for embroidery, in main body color for tightening and one color for bra crocheting. I use YarnArt Jeans #53 (black), #73 (peach), #20 (rose pink), #59 (bright pink).
2. 4.0 mm hook (US size G/6) or any other suitable for your crocheting density.
3. 2.5 mm crochet hook (US size C/2) for bra crocheting.
4. Filling (hollofiber or fiberfill for stuffing).
5. 16 mm safety eyes.
6. Eyelashes and glue.
7. Thin wire, 70 cm (~28 inches).
8. Band-aid.
9. Dry pastel pink color and brush for make up for toning cheeks.
10. Yarn needle, pins, stitch marker and scissors.
