Update 5/1/17: Updated pattern to have an alternate tail, added charts for tail shaping, and added stitch counts for a an adult XL and a child size.

Update 6/9/17: Correction for the child sized (120 stitches cast on) for the begining rib Rows 2 & 4 should read: k1 k2, p2 (repeat until 1 stitch remaining) k1

Can be sized up or down by adjusting the number of stitches cast on in increments of 11 stitches (2.5 inches). When casting on 142 stitches you will do 5 1/2 repeats of the scale pattern accross, and each increase of 11 stitches increases the repeat by 1/2.

An additional needle required for closing the seam at the bottom of the body of the blanket.
