Mermaid fans everywhere will love this mermaid tail cocoon-style blanket - the perfect way to snuggle up and keep out the cold.

The mermaid tail blanket is one size around (approximately 42”/107 cm at the widest part) and is suitable for small children as well as adults; the length can be custom-made to suit.

The pattern is worked using a J/10 (6.00 mm) hook and light worsted yarn (double knitting/8ply).

You will only need five 4 oz skeins (100g balls) of light worsted (double knitting/8ply) yarn to complete a mermaid tail long enough to fit most adult sizes.
