A beautiful and cozy lap blanket (or chest blanket) pattern that can be sized from toddler to adult. It is one piece and starts from the top down. Material does stretch.

I used Lion Brand Thick and Quick or Loop & Thread Cozy Wool. In the pattern I used one ball/skein as contrast colour for trim. Any Super Bulky yarn would do as long as you find your colour match.

Lion Brand Wool-Ease Tonal was used with smaller needles for the child size. Or a bulky 5 yarn would do.

Each size can be achieved by a different set of Circular needles from 9mm - 15 mm. I used markers to mark in-the-round row start, or as placement settings for fin increases, and to help count off rows. A seam can be added when its done for a foot closure above the fins, but even that is optional as without it then it would leave more overall length

The possibilities and colour combinations are endless.
