This Mermaid Blanket is very easy and perfect for beginners!

The pattern is made for an older child size (which works well for teenagers too, depending on height), but can be adjusted to any size based on the beginning length of the pattern.
It’s worked from the top to the bottom (decreasing as you go).
The foundation chain to start will determine what size you are making. (make less chains for baby size/make more chains for adult size)
Bernat Pop is great to use along with 2 strands of a solid colour to match (the amount of yarn will vary depending on size, hook, and yarn weight)
I use 3 strands of yarn at the same time to make this blanket extra squishy.
