Mermaid fans everywhere will love this mermaid tail cocoon-style blanket - the perfect way to snuggle up and keep out the cold.

The mermaid tail blanket is a generous size around (approximately 62”/157.5 cm at the widest part) so is suitable for most sizes; the length is approximately 48” (122 cm) from the top edge to the lower edge of the main part of the blanket. The tail fin adds an additional 13.5” (34 cm) to the overall length of the blanket.

The pattern is worked using size 11 (8.00 mm) and 9 (5.5 mm) circular needles, preferably at least 32” (80 cm) length to accommodate the large number of stitches.

You will need fourteen 4 oz skeins (100g balls) of light worsted (double knitting/8ply) yarn to complete the mermaid tail blanket.
