Everywhere I turn in the crochet world lately, I see mermaid tail blankets. They are just the neatest thing and definitely on my to-make list, but I just finished one big project for myself and am almost done with another. I certainly have the yarn for a mermaid tail blanket, but I need a break from the big. So I came up with a mermaid tail cup cozy!

This cozy will hold cans, pop or beer bottles, and most cups from your favorite coffee shop!

Included in the pattern are my tips for joining rounds and color changes. If making this cozy with variegated yarn, continuous rounds are advised and I’ve included some tips to use that yarn to make these cozies.
