Approximately 200 yards Red Heart Super Saver Yarn is needed for one mermaid tail.* My favorite results are with the colors Icelandic and Wildflower. Pattern features the color Minty.

1 yard Red Heart Boutique Sashay Metallic OR 1 yard ribbon in coordinated color for the drawstring tie at waist.

This pattern was designed to be more of a mermaid blanket for the doll and something that can be worn up higher on the doll body. You can adjust the hook size or number of rows on the body tube if you would like to shorten the tail.

• 200 Yards is a correction from the 300 yards previously stated. Of course, if your crochet loosely, then you may need more.
