This mermaid tail lap blanket is for 3-5 year olds. It has an opening in the back so children won’t get stuck inside.

I used the colors Aquila and Draco of the Mandala Sparkle Lion Heart yarn. The main tail is done in Aquila and I used approximately 410 yards. The top and bottom ruffles are done in color Draco and I used approximately 246 yards. A tapestry needle is used to sew ruffled parts and fin onto tail. I used hook size 4.25 mm G hook.
