I was originally going to name this the “She Sees Seashells” scarf because of the shell stitch pattern; however, no matter how much I practiced I just couldn’t pronounce that name correctly for the corresponding YouTube video (try it). My daughter Sarah noticed the bottom edge of the scarf flairs out like a Mermaid’s Tail, so hence the easier-to-say name.
