Mermaid Tail Snuggle Sack
Notes:
This project is worked in rounds, in multiples of 8. I would recommend measuring your intended and adding 8-10”.
This is worked from top down to give the scales the right direction, so your bottom closing number of rows will depend on how many multiple of 8 are in your starting rounds. (if you do 88, you will have 12 decreasing rows, down to 4 to close off). I DID NOT create this stitch, I thought it would replicate scales for this project.
Scales are worked on the WRONG side of the sack………so you will turn your work “outside-in” in order to see the scale pattern emerge. Be patient with the scales direction, it seems very difficult when reading, and in reality, it’s actually quite easy and a very easy repeat to memorize. Don’t overthink it, just do it one stitch at a time.
