Here in Norway autumn has come early. Merofleda celebrates the season with a leaf and nupp pattern knitted in an aspen gold colour. Worked from the bottom up in a single piece and finished on both ends with a picot crochet edge, it’s a great project for stashbusting that single skein of sock-weight yarn.

The scarf can be easily lengthened and widened. Instructions for doing so are included in the pattern. Links to two different techniques to work nupps are also included. Otherwise the pattern assumes that you have some experience knitting lace and can read charts.
