A raglan sweater that incorporates lace motif into its ribbing. The pattern is difficult enough to be interesting, but not unapproachable to an intermediate knitter. The sweater is knit in 1x1 rib starting with a purl and after the setup rows the pattern is made by repeating the stitch below unless otherwise noted in the pattern. This is especially important around the lace pattern and raglan shaping where occasionally there will be two knit stitches in a row. All decrease rows are done in unison with the decorative round they are matched with.
