Merry Cables
One of the things that i most enjoy about scarves is their variability. You can easily knit the scarf with different yarns and change the gauge to suit yourself.
Most important - do not knit a cabled scarf too tightly! Go up a size from your normal size with a given yarn, and remember that cables tighten up on the yarn. You can learn this by
doing a swatch in Stockinette St and then put in one row garter and change the swatch to a cable and see for yourself!
I’d love this in silk, like Crystal Palace yarns DK Panda Silk or the new LoftyWool. Would be fun to play with subtle colors too, such as Feldspar in Mochi Plus
