Merry Christmas Hat and Mittens. Thick and quick. Worsted weight hat and mittens set.

Materials
• US Size 3 (3.5mm) circular needles for ribbing
• US size 5 (3.75mm) circular needles and a set of dpns
• Worsted weight 218y/100g: about 286y/131g total for both.
For the hat (about 134y/61g total):
• Color 1: 30 g
• Color 2: 24 g
• Color 3: 7 g
For the mittens (about 154y/70g total):
• Color 1: 40 g
• Color 2: 28 g
• Color 3: 2 g

Hat Notes
1. Sizes: The pattern has two chart options. Chart A – for about 21” (size 1) circumference. Chart B – for about 22” (size 2) circumference.
2. Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left. Catch longer floats using preferred method.
3. Details: If desired, add details to the ornaments in Color 3 either by using duplicate stitch technique or by knitting in color 3 as you go from a small scrap of that color.
4. Construction: The hat is knit in the round.

Mittens Notes
1. Sizes: The mittens are 48 stitches and 61 rounds. With recommended yarn/needles, they will fit a 7.5 – 8” (19-20 cm) circumference hand.
2. Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left.
3. Details: If desired, add details to the ornaments in Color 3 either by using duplicate stitch technique or by knitting in color 3 as you go from a small scrap of that color.
4. Construction: The mittens are knit in the round.
