Materials
• Yarn: DK (136y/50g) about 128 y (46 g) total:
Color 1– 61y/55m/22g
Color 2 – 61y/55m/22g
Color 3 – 6y/5m/2g
• Needles: US 1 (2.25 mm) and US 1 ½ (2,5 mm) needles
• Tapestry needle (for adding small details)

Gauge: 15 sts x 14 rows = 2” (5 cm) with larger mittens

Notes
1. Size: The mittens are 51 stitches and 59 rows (without ribbing). With recommended yarn, needles and gauge the mittens will be about 8 cm wide and 22 cm long.
For smaller mittens use fingering or sport yarn; for larger mittens use worsted weight and larger needles.
2. Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left. Make sure to catch longer floats using preferred method. There are two chart options for the cuff: the 45-stitch option and the 48-stitch option. Choose the one you like best. The 48-stitch cuff is included in the main mitten chart.
