Materials
• US Size 0 (2mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method); US size 00 (1.75mm) for ribbing (optional)
• Light fingering weight yarn - 231y/50 g (211m/50g). You will need about 295y/63g total:
Color 1 – 143y/33g, Color 2 – 132y/26g, Color 3 – 20y/4g
• Tapestry needle (for duplicate stitch) - optional
• 52 beads (red), 12 beads (white/clear/gold). Using beads is optional. You can use fewer or more beads, if you like, and in color of your choice.

Gauge: 9 sts x 13 rows (knitting in the round) in 1” x 1” after blocking (this is gauge for recommended yarn and needles)

Notes
1. Sizes: With recommended yarn/needles, the mitts will fit an adult woman’s S/M hand. The size of the mitts can be further adjusted with yarn and needles. My recommendation would be: for S/M light fingering + 2mm needles, for M use fingering + 2.25/2.5 mm needles, for large use sport weight and 2.5/3 mm needles.
2. Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left. Catch longer floats using preferred method.
3. Duplicate stitch: Some of the designs on the ornaments are added by using color 3 and duplicate stitch technique. Duplicate stitch can also be used to add a third color to the cuff of the mittens, if not adding beads.
4. Adding beads (optional): To make your mittens more festive and sparkly, consider adding beads to the stitches marked with a B on the chart.

Big THANKS to Zwulli and KnittinTheBlues for helping with the test! ♥♥♥
