About this pattern:

Merry Christmeows is a holiday special edition of my other pattern Hannah’s Meow friends. It is knitted in the round from bottom to top with very little seaming. Glass eyes and embroidered nose are added after the body is made and blocked, and finally we will make a knitted Santa hat to complete the Chritstmasy look. Technique used in this pattern: Magic ring CO, knit in the round, i-cord, mattress stitch, embroidery(satin stitch).

Yarn & Yardage
30g of Illimani Yarn Royal I or Worsted weight non-superwash wool yarn for the body and arms
5g of WOOL & HUES Pure Wool or DK weight non-superwash wool yarn for the tassels and whiskers
10g of WOOL & HUES Pure Wool or DK weight non-superwash wool yarn for the hat

Needles
3.0mm circular knitting needle
Similar sized crochet hook for Magic Ring (Circular) Cast-on

Notions
A pair of 6.5mm glass eyes, tapestry needle, stitch markers, smooth waste yarn, embroidery needles, stuffing, glue.

Finished Size
15cm tall without the hat

Gauge
Using yarn and needle suggested above, 22 stitches /10 cm after blocking before stuffing.

If you are using superwash yarn, it is suggested to use an even smaller size needle since it’s more stretchy.
