These stylish mitts will convey your true “Bah, Humbug” spirit! Or maybe they’ll warm your hands and your heart will grow 3 sizes!!

Knit from cuff up, the mitts feature the Grinch’s “Brain full of spiders” and a cute repeat of his face.

The main part involves simple colorwork. The outlines and eyes can be added later in Duplicate stitch.

Pattern is written and charted, with a link and graphic illustrating Duplicate Stitch.

Materials:
DPNs or a circular needle for magic loop, size 3.0mm
2 stitch markers
a stitch holder or waste yarn for thumb stitches
a cable needle or something to hold a single stitch

Yarns: DK weight in 4 colors:
MC in a nice grinchy green
BC background color for colorwork, any color you want (I used red)
CCD dark for outlines
CCL pale for eyes, etc (yellow, natural, white, etc.)
