This pattern is an intermediate pattern. You’ll have to know how to work in the round, work in back loops, single crochet, double crochet, increase, decrease, and read US crochet instructions and abbreviations.

You’ll work the band sideways, and then join and continue working bottom up to finish the hat.

You’ll need approximately 6 oz of worsted weight yarn and a US size G crochet hook.

The band has some stretch to it, and it is designed to fit most teen to adult heads.
