This is a pattern for a light weight wrap. It’s heavier than a shawl, but just the ideal weight for a spring or fall evening, or even if you’re sensitive to air conditioning in the summer. It knits up fairly quickly. It is composed of both a cable lace stitch combined with an unusual mesh stitch that shows off the cable-lace perfectly. The final size is 24 inches by 72 inches.. There are also instructions for an optional edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)

The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport undyed. (That yarn is no longer available, but Fleece Artist’s BFL sport would be an excellent substitute.
