I’m delighted to present my latest design - the mesh embroidered cardigan. This pretty cardigan goes with all clothing including jeans, dresses and skirts, and I have incorporated one of the most important features that I want from all my clothing – pockets!

I used Stylecrafts Naturals Bamboo and Cotton DK yarn which is 60% bamboo/40% cotton and has a lovely soft feel to it. Main colour used is Espresso – 500g (5 balls) and I also used a small amount of Natural and Ocean to embroider the cardigan (100g/1 ball bought of each but less than half of each ball used).

The pattern comes with full written instructions but is also laid out in chart form so you can see what shape your pieces (back, sleeves, fronts) should look like. The chart is helpful if you want to increase or reduce the size.

Measurements are given below and provide a loose fit for a medium/12-14 size but can easily be adjusted by adding extra mesh squares or removing mesh squares to make a bigger or smaller size.
