This bag is knit with different sized needles based on the size mesh or open-ness you want. The size needles listed are the size needles I used, you use what ever floats your boat.

My bag used one of the small balls of Sugar N Cream and 1.5 of the multi-color large balls. Again you will knit this bag to your desired depth. It has tons of stretch so keep that in mind. It can hold quite a bit.
