Before I tell you about the pattern itself, I’m going to tell you the story it has come to have for me. Many of you who are familiar with my patterns, know that I use AG2N Hand Dyed Yarns for most of my design samples. I’ve worked with the dyer, Kim Hamilton, on many projects. A very talented artist and a friend. Kim recently passed unexpectedly. This cowl pattern was my latest design I completed with his yarn. I didn’t even get a chance to show it to him. R.I.P. Kim. Your talent and friendship will be missed.

Now let’s talk about this pattern. Kim always got excited about new patterns! Cowls are my favorite for a relaxing knit. The repetitive pattern is great for TV or travelling, or just when you need a break from a larger project. Pair that with 100 grams of a lovely DK weight yarn and you have a wonderfully squishy, non-stressful knit!
