Mesmerized
I designed the Mesmerized scarf for Valentines Day, a special day that celebrates love, with a beautiful colorway from Miss Babs. I used the lovely Miss Babs Tarte fingering weight yarn (500 yards/122 grams) in the color Bloomin’ Pansies for my scarf. Be sure to take a look at Miss Babs yarns and see all of the amazing colorways.
The scarf is a shallow triangle and starts with a few stitches at one tip and is crocheted sideways and ends at the other tip with a few stitches. And, the bottom rosette edging and the top scalloped edging is crocheted as you go so when you are finished you are really finished!
Looking closely at the scarf it is hard to see how the stitch pattern is worked, which to me is what it is all about. I love beautiful stitch patterns where the definition between the rows and the edging become blurred and you end up with a beautiful stitch pattern that mesmerizes the eye.
And, this scarf being a shallow triangle with a generous length makes it very wearable. I hope you enjoy crocheting and wearing the Mesmerized scarf as much as I enjoyed designing it.
