This hat can be made in 2 different styles: simple hat with multicolored yarn, or a textured hat in solid color.

This pattern uses worsted weight yarn and US crochet terminology. Advanced beginner/intermediate.

Materials used:
Worsted Weight yarn
H crochet hook
Yarn Needle

Measurements of finished item (using yarn and hook size specified in pattern):
Textured Stripes (yellow in photo): 20” around, 7” high
Colored Stripes (multicolor in photo): 17” around, 7.5” high (brim is made to stretch)
