Metallurgy
by Nin Leavitt
This cowl pattern is based on my love of wrought iron fencing, my new found interest of Game of Thrones Ironborn’s saying “What is dead can never die” (meaning iron) and my curiosity of steampunk. Metallurgy is an unisex design that would look great for everyday apparel, as an homage to the Ironborn, or as an essential element of a winterized steampunk outfit. Enjoy the warmth!
Gauge:
24 stitches and 33 rows = 4” in stockinette on 3.5mm needles.
32 stitches and 33 rows = 4” in main stitch pattern on 3.5mm (7US) needles or whatever size needles to obtain correct tension.
Two Length Options:
If you want a longer cowl, work rounds 1-25 twice.
