Digital chart and instructions in English (US Terms) with detailed photos for creating the “Metamorphosis” pattern in mosaic crochet. This pattern uses the overlay mosaic crochet technique.

A mosaic crochet Death’s Head Moth crocheted in the round as an oversized granny square! This iconic moth was featured in the movie “The Silence of the Lambs” (one of my all-time favorite movies!) and is such a beautiful symbol for change and rebirth.

This pattern can be crocheted in standard 2-colors, or as a full color design. Pattern includes instructions for a wall hanging or chair cushion, but these granny squares can be made into just about anything.

This is an advanced level mosaic crochet pattern. The pattern is chart based and NOT written row by row. These charts have several special stitches, and each pattern includes a detailed photo tutorial of those stitches, as well as reference photos for completed rows. If you’re new to mosaic crochet there are links to video tutorials within the pattern to help teach you the technique and how to read a chart pattern.
