Mette Blanket
Mette Blanket
This baby blanket was designed and knit for Baby Fritz, to keep him warm at home or on the go. It’s the perfect size to keep him warm in his pram, stroller, or car seat, or while being held by his mama. The star motif is taken from my Mette Cardigan. I love this motif with the stars representing protection, guidance, and light, with hearts in the corners that form smaller stars representing love and courage. The Mette cardigan was designed with my grandfather’s grandmother Mette Hansen in mind. She was the essence of hope, love, protection and courage. This blanket connects Baby Fritz to his family, reminds him he is dearly loved, protects him from the cold, and helps him feel all of our love through this snuggly warm blanket. Knit with super soft Rauma Tumi, this alpaca/wool blend will keep our baby, and yours, warm throughout the year.
